This gorgeous antique French drop front secretary, or secrétaire à abattant, combines beauty and function. When closed, you can appreciate the beautiful burled wood and brass hardware. Plus, there are three spacious drawers with handles beneath the drop front as well as a hidden drawer above! When open, the drop front becomes a sturdy work space complete with a black leather inset. The interior of the desk has six drawers to store all of your office essentials. The arched cubby is flanked with wood columns, echoing the columns on the exterior of the piece.

Condition
Please note, this piece is in good antique condition. While this piece is in good antique condition, there is minor wear which is to be expected from a piece this age. Notably, there are minor knicks throughout the marble top as well as minor wear to the leather desk top. There are dents and knicks in wood at the top of the drop front where it has likely been closed hundreds of times. There is a minor wood split on the bottom right side of the desk. of All imperfections are shown in photos.
