Sourced directly from the South of France, this Virgin Mary painting was completed c. 1860. Though we discovered this massive work of art in France, it originates from Italy. The painting was done on canvas stretched across a large piece of carved wood. It depicts the Virgin's Mary ascension into heaven. This larger than life piece is masterfully executed and features such vibrant colors despite its age.
